Exploration: perhaps the most important aspect of a liberal arts education- the Wild Rockies Field Institute can help make it happen! Maybe you’d like to follow in the footsteps of ancient canyon cultures or bike tour across Montana's spectacular landscapes. We can help you watch, from a safe distance, a grizzly bear fish a river for salmon on the coast of Alaska, or learn, firsthand, from the ancient wisdom of a Native elder.
In the evenings you will read about the historical, social, environmental, economic and political context in which these events take place. The next day, you are likely to apply what you have learned and discuss what these experiences mean to you and your classmates, experiences that aresure to influence who you are and how you perceive your place in the world.
The best part: you can embark on these adventures for college credit towards your degree!
